Like many countries all around the world, Honduras was devastated by Covid-19.
The limitations of the Honduran health care system were only multiplied by the severity of the disease and the number of people who were in desperate need of medications, oxygen, and monitoring during this time. From 2020 to 2023, we temporarily suspended medical mission teams, but we continued to provide support to the Honduran people by sending funds to local missionaries who purchased personal protective equipment (PPE) like respirators for local doctors and nurses,
and lifesaving medications for the sickest patients.
Hands of Mercy Global Ministries is a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization recognized by the IRS. All donations are tax deductible, and receipts for these donations will be sent each year in early January so that individuals may use them on their tax returns. If you have any questions about how your donation will be used, or to receive a receipt for your donation before our annual cycle in January, please feel free to email us using the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page.
At this time, NO employee or member of Hands of Mercy Global Ministries receives any salary, compensation, or consideration for their work. All of us are volunteers. This means 100% of your donation goes to support the people who need it most.
